EUROPE - Rainer Lenzin, previously of Lehman Brothers in Zurich, has been appointed vice president for sales in Austria and Switzerland, a newly created position at Mellon Global Investments.
Reporting to Neal Kutner, first vice president and head of sales for Mellon Global Investments in the region, Lenzin will promote Mellon’s offshore fund range to multi-manager platforms, and develop the distribution of Mellon funds through the private banking businesses of local financial services organisations.
Jon Little (pictured), CEO of Mellon Global Investments and co-chair of Mellon International, said: “We are delighted to welcome Rainer to the team.
“Our business in Austria and Switzerland has grown significantly in recent years and now warrants additional resource to focus on further developing the distribution of our Mellon Global Funds range.”
While at Lehman Brothers in Zurich Lenzin was responsible for institutional equity sales into Switzerland, Holland and Germany.
Lenzin joined in October 2005.
