Fiduciary management: addressing knowledge gaps

Interest in fiduciary management is growing but key knowledge gaps remain. Helen Morrissey looks at how these gaps are being addressed.

The fiduciary management market has grown markedly in recent years. According to KPMG's 2012 Fiduciary Management Survey the full delegation market stood in excess of £23bn. This equated to over 2.4% of total UK pension scheme assets under management distributed across 174 pension scheme mandates. This represents a 40% year on year growth rate.
