FRANCE - Financial services group CCF has increased its stake in French institutional investment house Sinopia Asset Management by just over 15%.
The firm acquired 1,103,430 shares in Sinopia - through HSBC CCF Asset Management - from KBC Group, BBVA Group and Mellon Financial Corporation at a price of EUR27.5 (£17) per share.
The deal increases CCF’s share in Sinopia from 60.4% to 76.7%.
CCF will file a public offer with the stock market authorities (Conseil des Marchés Financiers) at the same price of EUR27.5 per share. Euronext Paris will continue to suspend the trading on Sinopia’s shares until the offer is completed.
