FRANCE - CDC IXIS Asset Management has promoted its strategy chief Roland Calvo to the post of chief investment officer as part of a management reshuffle at the French firm.
Calvo’s deputy, Roland Lescure, will be moved up to his former position as manager of the firm’s strategy and research team. Additionally, Lescure will takeover from Thierry Charon as manager of global balanced investment management.
Charon moves to CDC’s marketing department as part of its efforts to strengthen its client relationships management. At marketing, Charon will be responsible for institutional marketing. Herve Guinamant, currently marketing and corporate communications manager, has been appointed as manager of retail distribution.
