US - New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM) is to form a new marketing unit, headed by senior managing director Marc Brookman.
Brookman will build a team covering separate accounts, commingled funds, alternative investments and real estate investment products. He will also be responsible for the New York Life Trust Company, where he will develop NYLIM's High Net Worth and IRA Rollover businesses.
In assuming this leadership position, he leaves his post managing NYLIM Retirement Services. Barry Schub has now been been hired from E*Trade Group - where he was a vice president managing online 401(k) and 529 programs, and retail retirement products- as the unit’s new senior managing director.
Before that Schub was president of United Asset Management Retirement Plan Services where he oversaw all aspects of UAM's retirement operation.
