Art of Pensions 2016: Competition now open!

Art of Pensions 2016 - the competition run by legislative information service provider Pendragon in association with Professional Pensions - is now open for entries.

Now in its 14th year, the annual competition involves submitting anything creative on one of the competition's A6 postcard frames. The only limitation is that it must have some connection to pensions.

Entries are welcome in many forms: illustrations, cartoons, fine drawings, doodles, sketches, black and white, colour, text, poetry, song, serious or humorous: in fact the entire range of artistic expression.

Competition entry forms are available from Pendragon ([email protected]) or can be downloaded from the Art of Pensions website.

Pendragon Managing Director Simon Freeman said: "The competition appears to evoke the spirit of creativity that exists within the UK pensions sector and we confidently expect this year's competition to be bigger and better than ever. Entrants can submit any subject matter they want; the only limitation is that it fits into one of the competition's A6 postcard frames and, of course, that it relates to pensions."

As in previous years, there will be five categories: overall winner, most original, most humorous, most thought-provoking and a Pendragon commendation award.

The deadline for receipt of entries is 10am on 26 September.

A longlist of entries will be exhibited both on the Art of Pensions website and at the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association's Annual Conference & Exhibition from 19 to 21 October.

Visitors will be invited to select the best entries to determine a shortlist of finalists.

From the end of October until December, all members of the UK pensions community are invited to vote online for their single favourite entry from the shortlisted finalists published in Professional Pensions.
