Think tank predicts the end of private pensions

The private pensions industry is set to wind down as young people increasingly retreat from retirement saving, the Centre for Policy Studies (CPS) has warned.

Contributions tumbled 25% over the last six years to £7.7bn in 2012-13, including basic tax relief, while investment in stocks and shares ISAs grew 59% over the same period to £16.5bn, according to...
