The trustee of the Honda Group UK Pension Scheme has appointed Punter Southall to provide actuarial services from its Bristol office.
The 5,000-member scheme said it carried out a rigorous tendering process to find an actuarial service provider.

Employee numbers at the consultancy's Bristol office have trebled in the last three years, and it has a total staff of over 750 across the UK and the US.
Earlier this year the Court of Appeal rejected the Honda scheme's case on faulty documents, which left it facing additional liabilities of between £47m and £70m (PP Online, 6 May).
