Fundamental Media - the fund management media marketing specialist - has acquired Hooplot Associates, a boutique marketing consultancy firm specialising in sales, marketing and cross border distribution for asset managers.
Hooplot Associates conducts industry specific research, market entry assignments and advises international asset management firms on how to boost their distribution, marketing and sales.
Hooplot will continue servicing its clients under the Fundamental Media umbrella and its founder Vincent Hooplot will join Fundamental's board of directors as chief operating officer and chief strategist.
With the acquisition, Fundamental Media will extend its strategic knowledge of the asset management industry - and expand its research capabilities, media intelligence and expertise.
