Auto-enrolment leads to surge in calls to TPAS

The number of people contacting The Pensions Advisory Service helpline has increased 8% this year as the organisation begins taking calls on auto-enrolment.

The service said in its annual review, published today, that the number of calls rose from 63,751 the previous year to 68,534 in 2011/12. More than 1,500 of these calls were from people wanting ...
