Supermarket giant Asda's group pension scheme has hired State Street Global Advisors to run a £165m "130/30" global equity mandate.

The assets will be invested in SSgA’s Global alpha Edge fund, one of the first products on the market to exploit the European Union’s third version of the undertakings for the collective investment...
