Scheme funding has worsened for the second month in a row, the Pension Protection Fund 7800 Index shows.
The index – an estimate for the funding position of 7783 predominately private sector defined benefit schemes in the UK – shows an aggregate surplus of £27bn in August compared with £51bn in July....
