ADVISERS are encouraging an unwelcome adversarial attitude among trustees negotiating with sponsors over scheme funding, NAPF conference delegates heard.

The Pensions Regulator chairman David Norgrove said his office had become aware of cases where trustees were taking an unnecessarily tough line with sponsors because they had been advised to do so....
