FOUR out of five of the UK's defined benefit schemes are closed to new entrants, a survey by the Association of Consulting Actuaries reveals.
The survey of more than 330 employers – with scheme assets exceeding £127bn and more than 2.1 million members – shows 81pc of DB schemes are now closed to new entrants, up from 68pc two years ago. ...
