ANYONE hoping that ministers might suddenly produce a rabbit from the hat in their White Paper on Pensions Reform would have been sorely disappointed. In fact, the proposals put forward were rather a damp squib - scarcely surprising given that virtually all of them had been leaked extensively over the past few weeks.
But that would be of little concern if ministers have come up with a package which gives employers, employees and future pensioners the blueprint for stability and security that was so badly needed...
