DMO to issue £23.4bn of long-dated gilts in 2007/08

THE DEBT Management Office will issue £23.4bn of long-dated gilts and £15bn of index-linked gilts in 2007/ 2008, it has announced.

It plans 11 auctions of conventional bonds with a maturity of 15 years and over and 15 auctions of index-linked debt. The DMO will also issue a further £20bn of short and medium maturity gilts....
