CUMBRIAN Newspapers could face a massive walkout if staff vote in favour to strike over plans to scrap the final salary pension scheme.

Parent company CN Group’s has proposal to close the scheme to new and existing members from November 1 in a bid to plug its £7.7m deficit prompted unions to launch a ballot for industrial action. ...
