MORE than a third of all enquiries to independent financial advisers during the first quarter of the year were on retirement planning.

IFA Promotion’s quarterly report showed that between the start if January and the end of March 2006, it handled 62,363 searches for independent investments and savings advice – a surge of 22pc comp...
