GORDON Brown should not accept the generous pension pot on offer to the prime minister should he take over from Tony Blair, the Liberal Democrats have said.

Lib Dem pensions spokesman Lord Oakeshott has written to Brown calling on him to follow the example of the lord chancellor and not claim the full £4,320,000 “golden pension pot” he will be entitled...
