GLOBAL - Some 500 of the world's largest companies could face billion dollar wipe-outs in shareholder value if they fail to act on climate risk. A new report, commissioned by the Carbon Disclosure Project, warned stockmarket heavyweights that they face shaving up to 40% off their market cap if they continue to ignore the effects of greenhouse emissions.
