TASS survey shows Q4 hedge fund outflow

GLOBAL - Hedge funds experienced their first quarterly outflows for the first time in nearly three years during the final quarter of 2002, according to Tremont TASS.

The hedge fund consultant found that the outflow in the fourth quarter of 2002 was US$696m (£441.2m), compared to an inflow of US$6.8bn (£4.3bn) during the previous quarter.
