Zurich hires CITO

SWITZERLAND - Zurich Financial Services has appointed Michael Paravicini as chief information technology officer, effective January 1, 2003.

Since 2000 Paravicini was CIO at Commerzbank in Frankfurt. He will now report to Zurich’s chief operating officer, Peter Eckert.

Bulgaria raises Pension contributions to cover budget deficit
