A lack of training and the amount of time required to carry out duties are the key deterrents to people becoming lay trustees, according to an independent trustee.

Pitmans Trustees surveyed lay trustees using social media - including Twitter, LinkedIn and direct email - and found 58% of respondents believed lack of training was a key barrier, and 57% said the...
