SPC urges DWP to keep GMP revaluation rate at 4%

The government should retain a fixed revaluation rate of 4% calculating guaranteed minimum pensions for early leavers, the Society of Pension Consultants recommends.

The trade body's comments come in response to a Department for Work and Pensions consultation which proposed increasing the rate to 4.75% for the period between 2012 and 2017. The SPC said this ...
