The Actuarial Profession has revised down its life expectancy projections for older people after recording slower than expected improvements in mortality rates over the last decade.
When applied to a standard scheme membership model, the projections equate to a 7.5% drop in life expectancy for a male scheme members aged 95 who can now expect to live for another 3.08 years. ...
