Fee increases disconnected from manager performance

Movements in financial markets have a far greater impact on investment fees paid by schemes than manager performance, according to research from LCP.

The consultancy's 2013 Investment Management Fees Survey found that in some asset classes, market movements had accounted for more than 70% of fee increases over the last three years. The report...
