ONS: Life expectancies increase by a year

Life expectancies across England and Wales have grown by 1.3 years for men and one year for women between 2006/07 and 20010/12, according to the latest data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

The findings showed male life expectancy at birth was highest in East Dorset, where men were predicted to live to 82.9 years, in contrast to just 74 in Blackpool. Women living in Manchester had ...
