FTSE350 pension deficits rise £40bn

FTSE350 companies saw their pension deficits rise £39bn in the past 12 months, according to Mercer.

Its pension risk survey showed scheme deficits were £112bn at 30 June on an IAS19 basis. The average funding ratio was 84%, down one percentage point on 31 December 2013. The data, which relates ...
