Professional Pensions editor Helen Morrissey is to begin the Three Peaks Challenge - climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours - tomorrow morning.

Helen is completing the 26 mile walk - which includes 9,800 feet of ascent - in aid of Mind, the mental health charity.

Training Helen has completed in preparation for the challenge included climbing Pulpit Rock in Norway and walking over the Seven Sisters in the UK.

Commenting on the challenge, Helen said: "Tackling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in one day is no mean feat but it is something I have always wanted to do."

She added: "It is going to be physically and mentally exhausting and I really hope the weather gods are going to be kind."

There is still time to sponsor Helen via her fundraising website.
