PP Autumn Drinks Reception: Keynote speaker unveiled

clock • 1 min read

HSBC Pension Trust chief investment officer Mark Thompson will deliver the keynote address at the Professional Pensions Autumn Drinks Reception, which is being held on 27 September.

Thompson will talk about how the £30bn HSBC Pension Trust collaborated in the launch of the Future World Fund - a multi-factor smart beta strategy 'tilted' towards companies that contribute to a low-carbon future - and why HSBC decided to choose this fund as the equity default option for £1.85bn of its defined contribution assets.

The Professional Pensions Autumn Drinks Reception - which is being held in partnership with NN Investment Partners - will be held on 27 September at the five-star South Place Hotel in London.

The event will also include a session on the benefits of multi-asset factor investing, presented by NN Investment Partners co-lead portfolio manager for multi-asset factor investing Stan Verhoeven.

The evening will end with drinks, canapés and an opportunity to network with your peers.

Places at the drinks reception are complimentary for those with in-house pension scheme responsibilities such as pension fund managers and trustees.
