Logistics firm Bertschi UK automatically enrols its 130 employees on to the Mosaic cash plan provided by Westfield Health.
One of the main benefits, says administration manager Michael Oxendale, is the ability to use the plan to help staff access private medical treatment if required.
"They have a list of 68 most common operations and if one of our employees needs one of those they can either go private for the operation or go with the NHS and get a cash sum instead," he says.
As well as the dental and optical benefits, staff also receive a payout if they have a baby, which Oxendale says is always valued by employees.
"They get £100, so if someone puts in for paternity leave I will give them a form and get things going," he says.
