Staff supporting the University and College Union (UCU) went on strike at a number of UK universities yesterday (14 February) in a move labelled as “disappointing” by the University and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA).

The action stems from the problems surrounding a reform of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) amid continued negotiations between UCU and the scheme's sponsoring employer Universities UK ...
