The first day of the Sustainable Investment Festival 2023 took place yesterday (14 June) at 155 Bishopsgate in central London.

Delegates from across the industry heard insightful and thought-provoking discussions, including a panel discussion on the effecting good outcomes through investor engagement, a session on how to ensure pension schemes are not defunding deforestation, and a look at the opportunities for expanded private capital investment.

It also included a keynote interview with The Big Issue chair Nigel Kershaw, which explored the evolving role of social impact investing.
