XPS finds transfer values fell in the last year, with more activity among smaller transfer amounts

Overall defined benefit (DB) transfer volumes fell 30% in the year to 31 March 2023, to £237m, XPS Pensions Group has found.

T­he firm's analysis of more than 1,000 transfers, processed by XPS in the year to 31 March 2023, found the average transfer value fell to £238,000 from £305,000 last year following the gilts crisi...
