The Association of Consulting Actuaries has launched a fresh corporate identity and published a video to mark the beginning of its 75th anniversary year.

The ACA was founded in 1951 – a time when there were just 29 consulting actuaries working whole-time in the UK. Today the trade body has some 1,700 members.

During 2026, the ACA is planning a number of special activities to mark the milestone – including a Student Essay Prize focussing on the future of pensions.

It has also published a short video (see above) to mark the start of the year - a video which includes appearances for the ACA's current chair, Stewart Hastie, as well as past presidents and ACA members such as Mercer's Jenny Condron, Alan Fishman, LCP's David Fairs, Hymans Robertson's Laura McLaren, Censeo's Gail Higgins, Aon's Chintan Gandhi, and Spence & Partners' Neil Buchanan.
