Doug Brown: Lower BPA volumes reflect a more subdued market
Aviva wrote £0.6bn of bulk purchase annuity (BPA) volumes in the first quarter of 2026 which is more than half the volume it wrote in the same period the year prior, reflecting a “more subdued market”, according to its latest trading update.
