LAPFF chair Doug McMurdo says things like this year’s extreme heat have brought home ‘the real and mounting cost’ of climate change to the UK economy.
A global group of 62 investors led by the Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF) and CCLA, has this month written to the chairs of FTSE 100 companies to ask them to put their climate transition plans to an advisory shareholder vote at least once every three years.
