How times change. Just two years ago, unions were bashing ‘fat cat' private sector bosses for taking multi-million pound increases in their pension pots while tens of thousands of private sector workers saw their final salary schemes closed to new members or shut entirely and replaced with cheaper, more sustainable alternatives.
