Comment: Treasury proposals will not damage EET principles

Industry responses to the Treasury's consultation on proposals to restrict higher-rate tax relief for those earning more than £130,000 - which closed yesterday - have been vehemently against the move.

Some say such proposals would undermine the EET principles - where money invested in the pension fund is exempt from tax, money is accumulated with interest that is exempt from tax and the proceeds...
