Steve Webb has challenged providers to restore the "battered reputation" of the pensions industry by improving the terms of savers locked in to legacy schemes.
He says it appears that "sky-high charges are tearing the heart out of people's pensions" - warning the government would focus on charges in default funds and urging providers to offer fairer terms...
