Video: Rise in bulk member options exercises enables more say on pension benefits

Since the new pensions freedoms were introduced in April 2015, there has been a rapid increase in companies and trustees running bulk member options exercises, allowing members to access these new freedoms.

In 2018, Aon advised on a new member options exercise around once every two weeks, helping companies and trustees manage pensions liabilities and allowing members to have more say on their pension benefits.

Aon's experience and wealth of data allows them to structure exercises in the right way for specific schemes.
