UK - Equity markets will outperform bonds in the medium-term now that fears of global deflation are receding, Standard Life Investments claims.
Chief investment officer Keith Skeoch said: “While we expect globalisation trends to keep downward pressures on the price of many consumer goods, the likelihood of global deflation is very low.”
