EUROPE - Although many funds investing in developed markets have experienced a torrid time recently, this has not been the case for those focused on emerging and eastern Europe, according to latest analysis published by Standard & Poor's.
The S&P/IFCI East Europe index was more than 55% higher in dollar terms over the year to 1 May, while the S&P/IFCI Emerging Europe index had risen by over 26%.
