EUROPE - Total European property investment fell only 1% last year compared to 2001 despite a 30% drop in the leasing market, figures from Jones Lang LaSalle show.
Total property investments in Europe amounted to E67.5bn (£44.5bn) in 2002 – a high level of investment the property manager attributed to low interest rates and investment funds’ high liquidity.
