Schroders has hired Tim Horne and James Bourne in a significant expansion of its defined contribution pensions team.
Horne has been hired as DC investment solutions manager and will report to Schroders head of DC Stephen Bowles. He joins from Towers Watson where he worked as an investment consultant, giving advice on corporate DC pension schemes.
Bourne has joined Schroders as platform relationship manager from Fidelity International where he was responsible for relationship management of various fund partners. He will report to head of platform relationship management David Heathcock.
Head of DC Stephen Bowles said "We have been planning this expansion for some time. It has largely been necessitated by growing client demand, an increased product range and our ongoing client service commitment."
