Cartwright Group has appointed Alan Swallow as a senior actuary as the firm continues to grow its actuarial team.
He will be based in the firm's Farnborough office and joins at a time when the company said it was seeing demand in the market, particularly from small to medium-sized schemes.
A former senior actuary at Capita, Swallow qualified 17 years ago and will report to Cartwright Group director Robert Sweet who also leads its actuarial business.
Swallow helped grow the employee benefits proposition of SBJ, which bought by Capita Employee Benefits.
He has experience in providing integrated investment, funding and risk management advice to clients.
Sweet said: "Alan complements the existing team and will provide valuable insight and new ideas, whilst enabling us to meet the growing demand we are seeing, particularly from new clients seeking proactive, responsive and personal service."
