Accountancy firm Moore Stephens has appointed Punter Southall Independent Trustees (PSIT) chair of its master trust, which is set to launch at the end of the year.
The Moore Stephens Pensions Master Trust is a multi-employer defined contribution (DC) occupational pension scheme and in the process of getting approval from HM Revenue & Customs.
Moore Stephens director of employee benefits Stuart Stroud said: "We selected PSIT to act as professional trustee to our new master trust based on their expertise and enthusiasm for the project."
PSIT scheme manager Mark Homer added their appointment as trustee and chair ensured the master trust would meet the regulator's governance requirements.
"Our expertise in DC pensions will provide employers and members with the confidence that their scheme is well managed," he continued.
Moore Stephens says it is the UK's ninth largest independent accounting and consulting network, comprising over 1,700 partners and staff in 39 locations.
