Scottish Widows to tailor default funds towards freedoms

Scottish Widows will be one of the first providers to bulk switch its workplace pension customers into default funds tailored to freedom and choice.

The insurer's decision comes on the back of research of its customers since the implementation of the pension freedoms last April which found around only 25% of customers opted to take an annuity. ...
