Tim Banks has been named as a senior consultant in the fiduciary management arm of Mercer in a newly-created role.
Having joined the consultancy on 24 May, Banks (pictured above) will focus on winning new business and clients including defined benefit pension plans, the insurance sector and wealth management.
Mercer's head of UK fiduciary management Ben Gunnee said: "Tim will be responsible for helping deliver Mercer's tailored and innovative solutions to help address the needs of clients."
He was a managing director and responsible for sales in the firm's UK defined contribution business for nearly six years.
