Julian Pendock dies after battle with cancer

Investment manager had career spanning both City and local government investments

Julian Pendock has died aged 51 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

During his career in pensions and investments, Pendock had been chief investment officer of the London CIV and the investments and pensions officer for the London Borough of Brent, a role he took on in 2014.

He began his career in corporate finance at BZW in London in 1994, before moving to Asia in 1996 as an equity analyst working for Jardine Fleming (now part of JP Morgan). In 2003 he returned to the UK and joined Bedlam Asset Management and, in 2007, he co-founded investment boutique Senhouse Capital.

A funeral service for Julian will be held at 10am on 22 November at Emstrey Crematorium, Shrewsbury. No flowers please but donations can be made to Cancer Research UK via: www.memorygiving.com/julianpendock
